(A1)<\/h2>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Do you want to say what you did yesterday in German? You need the <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"66\">Perfekt<\/b> (Perfect Tense). It is the most common past tense in spoken German.<\/p>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">To make a sentence in the past, you need a small formula:<\/p>\r\n<div data-path-to-node=\"6\">\r\n<div class=\"math-block\" data-math=\"\\text{Person} + \\textbf{haben \/ sein} + \\dots + \\textbf{Verb at the end}\">$$\\text{Person} + \\textbf{haben \/ sein} + \\dots + \\textbf{Verb at the end}$$<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">1. Most Verbs Use &#8220;Haben&#8221;<\/h3>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">For most activities, you use the verb <b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"38\">haben<\/b> (to have).
