But do not worry! These long words are just smaller words put together. In grammar, we call them <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"139\">composites<\/b> or <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"153\">compound words<\/b> (<i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"169\">Zusammengesetzte W\u00f6rter<\/i>).<\/p>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">When you learn how they work, your German vocabulary will grow very fast!<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"6\">How do German Compound Words work?<\/h3>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">It is like a puzzle. You just need to learn the basic words and combine them.
